Iran, Belarus call for promotion of parliamentary ties

Moscow, Dec 3, IRNA – Iranian ambassador to Belarus and a senior official at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus in a meeting on Saturday called for promotion of parliamentary ties. During the meeting, Mohammad Reza Sabouri and Sergey Rakhmanov chairman of the Commission for Foreign Affairs and National Security at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus discussed mutual ties as well as the latest regional and international developments. Tehran and Minsk have good potentials for cooperation in all fields particularly in the field of parliamentary affairs, Rakhmanov said. He noted that enhancement of parliamentary cooperation can deepen socio-cultural relations between the two countries. Iranian ambassador for his part underscored the key roles of Iran and Belarus parliaments in raising cooperation between Tehran and Minsk. 1378/IRNA
