Iran calls for high turnout in run-off parliamentary election

TEHRAN, April 22 (MNA) – On Saturday, a number of organizations and political groupings issued separate statements calling for a massive turnout in the run-off parliamentary election, which will be held on May 4. Two hundred and twenty five parliamentary seats were decided in the first round of the parliamentary election on March 2, and a run-off election will be held to decide the remaining 65 seats. One hundred and thirty five candidates will contest the run-off election.
