Iran Can Play Pivotal Role In Resolving World Problems: Pakistani Politician

Islamabad, Oct 2, IRNA – Spokesperson of a major political party on Monday said that Iran is an important country of the world and can play a pivotal in solving the world problems. Talking to IRNA, spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for defense issues Vice Admiral (retd) Javed Iqbal urged Muslim countries to support Iran against the western dominance. He said that negative propaganda is going on against Iran with an objective to destabilize Muslim world. The PTI leader went on to say that imperialists are making all out efforts to weaken Iran but the Islamic Republic is developing in all fields. Javed Iqbal said that Iran holds the chairmanship of Non Aligned Movement (NAM) which makes it a very strong country. The politician said that there is a need to enhance cooperation between non-aligned countries in trade sector. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesperson said that conspiracies to weaken Muslim Ummah will fail. The political leader expressing his opinion said that before United Nations criminalize the acts of blasphemy the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) should come forward with a strong solution to stop the anti-Islam activities of the West. He asked why is it that the Muslim governments have not come up with a strong reaction towards the anti-Islam movie. “Yes there is a need for forging unity among Ummah but the Muslims countries should give economic strength to each other,” added Javed Iqbal. The PTI leader viewed that the Muslim Ummah has to progress in all fields to counter the western dominance over technology. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesperson said that capitalist forces are taking benefits from the difference of Muslims. “We must unite,” he opined. “Yes Iran can be very helpful in finding a peaceful solution to the crisis of Syria,” he said answering a question./end
