Iran condemns Mali terror attack

TEHRAN, Nov. 22 (MNA) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari condemned a Friday terrorist attack on a hotel in the Malian capital of Bamako that killed at least 21 people. Hossein Jaberi Ansari voiced sympathy with the Malian government and people on the tragic event resulting in the death of innocent people. He described terrorism and extremism as a common threat to the world, and underlined the necessity for united global efforts to fight against this anti-humane phenomenon. Early on Friday, heavily armed gunmen stormed the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako, seizing scores of hostages and leaving bodies strewed across the building. At least 21 people were killed in the attack in which terrorist groups al-Mourabitoun and al-Qaeda claimed responsibility, which ended when Malian commandos entered the building and rescued 170 people, CNN reported. http://en.mehrnews.com/news/112151/Iran-condemns-Mali-terror-attack
