Iran Condemns Terrorist Attacks On Eid Worshipers In Afghanistan

Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA – Iran on Saturday deplored terrorist attacks on worshipers of Eid al-Adha in Afghanistan, calling for contribution of the international community to Afghan peace and security. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast strongly condemned the brutal attacks on worshipers in Afghanistan, sympathizing with families of those killed or maimed in the attack. Mehmanparast said such attacks are in blatant violation of the humanitarian and religious principles. Such inhuman terrorist attacks necessitates firm determination of the international community, Afghan nation and government in campaign against terrorism. It brings hatred of people to those masterminding or supporting such crimes. Tens of innocent worshipers were killed or injured during Eid al-Adha prayers in a mosque in Afghanistan on Friday./end
