Iran Condoles Demise Of Afghan First VP

Kabul, March 10, IRNA – Iranian Embassy to Afghanistan, in a letter of condolence on Sunday to Afghan President Hamid Karzai, expressed sympathy with the Afghan people and government on the death of First Vice-President Mohammad Qasim Fahim. The statement hailed the role of late Qasim Fahim in resistance to foreign aggression. The Iranian Embassy honored memory of the Afghan first vice-presuident for his efforts to maintain the countryˈs freedom and independence and to reconstruct the country in the past four decades of Afghanistanˈs history.
