Iran Cultural Official: Artists Can Truly Depict Real Image Of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Tehran, Oct 22, IRNA – Director General of Tehran Province Department for Cultural and Islamic Guidance Ehsan Ghazizadeh Hashemi said on Sunday that cultural figures and artists should take the lead from ordinary people to accurately depict real image of Great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and its lofty teachings. He made the remarks in a meeting of members of Cultural and artistic center of Tehran province mosques in presence of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini. He strongly condemned blaspheming the Great Prophet by a film produced by the US-Israeli entity, calling on the Iranian artists to apply their skills to properly represent the lofty teachings and high character of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). The enemies of Islam with resort to arts try to promote Islamophobia, he said. The defamatory film produced by the global arrogance desecrated the shiny image of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the Islamic sanctities, Ghazizadeh Hashemi said. The protests should be seized as golden opportunity to mobilize artists to help promote Islamic values and message of peace to world nations as well as divine religions in campaign against the global arrogance, he said. The Zionists who feel danger due to doctrine of the late Imam Khomeini try to orchestrate various scenarios to damage religious sentiments of true believers and the Islamic sanctities, he said. The Zionist regime backed by the US and the western governments are mobilized to promote such maniac measures, he said adding that but world Muslims will not let them attain their sinister goals. He invited all freedom lovers to take timely action in universal campaign against blasphemy./end
