Iran Deputy FM Arrives In Amman To Invite King Abdullah To NAM Meeting

Damascus, July 8, IRNA – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian arrived in Amman, Jordan, Sunday to review issues of mutual interests with Jordanian officials. The Iranian envoy is to submit a message from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Jordan's King Abdullah, inviting him to attend the 16th NAM Summit meeting to be held in Tehran late summer. Amir Abdollahian is planned to meet Prime Minister Fayez al-Tarawneh to hand over the invitation letter since King Abdullah is currently in Paris. During the NAM meeting, Iran is to receive the next rotating presidency of the movement for three years./end
