Iran Deputy FM In China To Discuss Bilateral Ties : G5+1 Talks

Beijing, Oct 12, IRNA – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi arrived here on Friday evening to hold talks with the senior Chinese officials. Sarmadi’s visit to China takes place on the threshold of upcoming meeting between Iran and the six major world powers. The Iranian deputy foreign minister will talk about bilateral ties and Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program with the Chinese officials. China has voiced its readiness to work for achieving a final solution to Iran’s nuclear standoff with the West through holding constructive talks. Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, France, Britain, US and Germany) will hold a fresh round of talks in Geneva on October 15-16./end
