Iran Diplomat, Filipino FM Spokesman Confer

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, May 10, IRNA – Spokesman of the Philippines Foreign Ministry Charles Jose and the Iranian Ambassador to the Philippines Ali Asghar Mohammadi discussed latest regional and international developments in a meeting held in Manila on Friday. Pointing to the significant role played by Iran at the regional and international levels, Jose said that Manila has to learn many lessons from Tehran. The two diplomats stressed the importance of consultation between the two countries in promoting bilateral cooperation. The two also emphasized the need for closer cooperation between foreign ministries of the two countries./end
