Iran Dismisses PGCC FM Alleged Interference In Their Domestic Affairs

Tehran, Sept 5, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Tuesday dismissed alleged Iranian interference in domestic affairs of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council. Mehmanparast berated the PGCC foreign ministers for mentioning to misunderstanding with the United Arab Emirates over Iranian Islands in the Persian Gulf in their statement. He said that the three Iranian Islands of Abu Musa, Greater and Lesser Tunbs are inseparable parts of Iranian territory and will remain integral part of the Islamic Republic of Iran forever. On alleged Iranian interference in the domestic affairs of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, he said such outdated allegations are useless aiming to mislead people from their civil demands. The spokesman made it clear that repetition of such allegations will never change realities in the region./end
