Iran Embassy In Lebanon Rejects News On Unrest Before Embassy

Beirut, June 10, IRNA – Iran's Embassy in Lebanon in a communiqué rejected broadcast news on an occurrence of clashes in front of its embassy building in Beirut, branding it ˈfalseˈ. The Embassy in the communiqué responded to numerous contacts and questions posed about the published and broadcast news about the occurrence of engagements in front of the embassy, arguing that no such engagement occurred at all.ˈ According to the received news, a group of Takfiri (accusing other Muslims of infidelity in faith) groups and terrorists who had faced crushing defeat in Syriaˈs al-Qussier town, had in reaction to their great losses and humiliation gathered in a street about one kilometer away from Iran's Embassy in Beirut where they got engaged in a dispute with the local residents and some of the supporters of the Syrian Government, that in a short while ended with the interference of the Lebanese Army and security forces. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army issued a communiqué in which it has been announced that an individual got killed in that street unrest./end
