Iran ex-vice president sentenced to jail

TEHRAN, Sept.2 (MNA) – Iran’s judiciary speaker announced that Iranian former president’s VP has been sentenced to jail. Hojjatoleslam Ejei in his news conference on Monday said that the country’s Judiciary sentenced to jail and fine payment a former vice president of Iran’s ex-President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad. The speaker did not give more details on the verdict. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was Iran’s president for two terms during 2005-2013.
