Iran Exported $200m Worth Iron-ore In 2 Months

Tehran, June 24, IRNA – Iran exported 2.88 million tons of iron-ore worth nearly $200 million in the first two months of current Iranian year which started on March 21, according to official customs data. China has been the main customer of Iranian iron-ore and imported more than 95 percent of Iranian exports of the product over the two-month period. Pakistan, the UAE, Turkmenistan and Iraq were other customers for the Iranian iron ore during the mentioned time. Iran was the fourth biggest supplier of iron-ore to China in 2013 after Australia, Brazil and South Africa.
