Iran Fleet In Intˈl Waters Proves Its Might - Navy Commander

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Prov, June 2, IRNA – Navy Commander of Iranˈs Army Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said here Sunday the presence of the Iranian fleet in Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandeb is an indication to the countryˈs power. The Navy commander made the remarks during a ceremony held in this southern province to welcome return of the 25th flotilla of Iranˈs Navy to the port city of Bandar Abbas. He reiterated that the 25th flotia has fulfilled its mission and achieved the targeted objectives. He said the Iranian fleet is present in the international waters with the purpose of safeguarding the countryˈs national interests as well as fighting piracy. Sayyari added that presence of Iranian naval forces in global waters is based on international regulations./end
