Iran Forerunner In Islamic World: Malaysian Speaker

Kuala Lumpur, Oct 12, IRNA - Malaysian Parliament Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin said here on Sunday that Iran plays a pioneer role in the Islamic World. Pandikar Amin made the remarks in a meeting with outgoing Iranian Ambassador to Malaysia, Mohammad Jalal Firouznia. The senior parliamentarian also expressed hope that expansion of cooperation among the Islamic countries could resolve the problems facing the Muslims. Firouznia, for his part, expressed hope that the increasing cooperation between Tehran and Kuala Lumpur would continue. Iranian diplomat also emphasized the need for expansion of mutual cooperation and parliamentary consultations for the settlement of problems facing the Islamic World./end
