Iran heroically returns; Poland survives though

TEHRAN, Sep. 14 (MNA) – Iran's men's volleyball heroic returns upsets Poland at home; however, the host survives only in fifth set. Iran's performance was lackluster in the first two sets and Poland had the upper hand with collecting points from their crafty services and Iran's poor receives. Poland's well-calculated performance stole the wind from Iran's sail to lead 2-0 in the course of only 50 minutes: 25-17 and 25-16, which dispirited Iranians here in Tehran, who sought to see their national squad in better form. However, the third set was Iran's heroic return to stun the Poland in its own home. Better performance in both defense, attack and receives kept Iran in par with Poland up to point 24, when a tiebreak required for both teams to score win in the set. It was Iran who finally was first to touch point 26, winning th
