Iran holds meeting to review Tehran-Kabul ties

Birjand, South Khorasan prov, Dec 3, IRNA – A meeting to review relations between Iran and Afghanistan was held on Wednesday in Birjand, the capital city of northeastern Iranian province of South Khorasan. During the meeting, Vajhollah Khedmatgozar, the governor general of South Khorasan referred to abundant cultural and historical affinities between the two neighboring nations, urging both Tehran and Kabul not to ignore the enormous potentials for economic and cultural cooperation.
