Iran, Hungary ink 8 coop. documents

TEHRAN, Dec. 01 (MNA) – Islamic Republic of Iran and Hungary signed eight cooperation documents for widening and deepening of relations. During his visit to Tehran, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban, heading a group of 120 economic activists, businessmen and officials from the European country’s banks, and Iranian side signed 8 agreements on the first day of the visit. Memorandum of Understanding and political consultations between Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, agreements to avoid double taxation and tax evasion were among eight documents signed in the presence of Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Iranian first Vice President Es'hagh Jahangiri. The two sides also inked agreement on economic cooperation, encouraging investment, Memorandum of Understanding in the field of cultural heritage and tourism, cultural exchange programs, scientific and educational programs and medical, health and technology cooperation. Viktor Orban's visit is the first visit of a Hungarian prime minister to the Islamic Republic in the last 27 years.
