Iran, Kazakhstan hold political consultations

TEHRAN, Feb. 03 (MNA) –Kazakh deputy foreign minister held consultations with his Iranian counterpart on upcoming visit by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the first half of 2015 here on Sunday. The Kazakh deputy foreign minister for regional affairs and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour also exchanged views on upcoming visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Astana in the first half of 2015. During the meeting the two officials reviewed relations between Iran and Kazakhstan in different areas, including, economy and culture. They urged both Tehran and Astana governments to make use of Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan railway to boost cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
