Iran-Malaysia Cultural Exchanges To Improve

Kuala Lumpur, Sept 7, IRNA – Iran plans to increase academic cooperation with University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur in the field of holding Persian language educational courses and scientific-cultural exchanges. Iranˈs cultural attaché in Malaysia, Ali Akbar Sabaei and dean of the universityˈs Humanities Faculty, Professor Seyyedin, stressed the need for promotion of scientific-cultural relationships. Referring to Iran-Malaysia scientific and cultural cooperation, Sabaei voiced Iranˈs readiness for cultural cooperation with the University of Malaya. A seminar themed ˈMolana, Past and Presentˈ and Persian language courses have already been held by Iran and University of Malaya, he said, noting that a number of Iranian students are currently undertaking post-graduate courses in the university. Iranˈs cooperation with University of Malaya will pave the way for further development of ties in all fields, he said. Professor Seyyedin, for his part, described cooperation with Iranian students as useful experience, hoping that mutual cooperation between Iran and University of Malaya would help implement the deal signed earlier by Iranˈs Cultural Office and the universityˈs Humanities Faculty.
