Iran to manufacture domestically designed helicopters soon

TEHRAN, April 7 (MNA) – The commander of the Army Helicopter Command told on Saturday that the Defense Ministry plans to manufacture domestically designed helicopters in the near future. Brigadier Houshang Yari also said that over 20,000 spare parts for helicopters have been manufactured in the country since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, adding that it shows that Iran is self-sufficient in this regard.
