Iran Media, Press Condemn Gaza Massacre

Tehran, Aug 5, IRNA – Members of Iranian press and media condemned the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza. In a statement released here on Tuesday, a group of journalists also voiced support for their counterparts who are covering the killing of defenseless Palestinians in Gaza. The statement severely condemned the inhuman bombings and savage attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza on the pretext of self-defense. It said the massacre of children, women and elderly people was in fact a form of collective punishment exercised by Israel against defenseless civilians in Gaza. It also noted that the inaction of world leaders allows the Zionist regime to carry out its unchecked crimes with their full support. The statement voiced the support of Iranian media persons for the brave journalists who are disclosing Israelˈs crimes to the world under the most dangerous conditions./end
