Iran, Morocco To Resume Diplomatic Ties

Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA - Iran and Morocco are to resume diplomatic relations, Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced on Wednesday. During recent talks between Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Moroccan counterpart Salaheddine Mezouar, both sides underlined the need to re-establish diplomatic ties between the two countries, he added. Iran and Morocco plan to reopen their embassies in the near future, Amir Abdollahian said./end
