Iran MP Condemns Anti-Islam Attacks By So-called HR Advocates

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – A member of Majlis said Sunday the so-called advocates of human rights have planned organized attacks against Islam and Muslim states. Mohammad Hossein Esfanani, Rapporteur of Majlis Legal and Judicial Commission, told IRNA that they are determined to eliminate Islam. He then referred to sacrilegious moves including burning copies of holy Quran, publishing cartoons insulting Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and making anti-Islam film as signs of animosity towards Islam. The parliamentarian further warned leaders of Islamic countries against such anti-Islam moves./end
