Iran MP-Croatian Dy FM Discuss Issues Of Mutual Interest

Tehran, June 11, IRNA – Head of Majlis Foreign Policy and National Security Commission, in a meeting with Croatia Deputy Foreign Minister, said that development of constructive ties in the framework of reciprocal respect and interests is among Iranˈs foreign policy principles. According to the report of Majlis website, Aladdin Boroujerdi met and discussed issues of mutual interest with visiting Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Josko Klisovic on Tuesday. Referring to good ties between the two countries in recent years, Boroujerdi said that Iran supports expansion of mutual relations in different fields. Klisovic, for his part, underlined Iranˈs importance and position in the region and said that development of ties with Iran especially in the fields of commerce and economy is among important axes of the Croatia foreign policies. He said that Croatia sees no obstacle in the way of development of cooperation with Iran. Referring to presence of industrialists and private sector companies in Croatian delegation, Klisovic added that Croatian companies are hopeful for development of ties and presence in Iranˈs market and Zagreb supports Iranian companies presence in Croatia./end
