Iran MP: Syria Insecurity Caused By Foreign Intervention

Hamedan, Oct 15, IRNA – Iranian lawmaker said on Sunday that ongoing crisis and insecurity in Syria is the result of foreign forces’ intervention. Member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mehdi Sanaie told a group of students that Syria crisis has been created by intervention of western governments and certain regional Arab states. He said contrary to claims of the western governments, the Syrian government has the highest level of legitimacy and people have proved their loyalty to the ruling system. He added that military intervention in Syria by western governments is far from expectation. Though the current proxy war in Syria is a kind of intervention, but ground for their direct intervention in the country is not prepared./end
