Iran Names New Ambassador To Bulgaria

Tehran, Jan 6, IRNA – Abdollah Norouzi was appointed as Iran's new ambassador to Bulgaria, Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday. The appointment was made upon a proposal by Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and approval of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norouzi has already served as Foreign Ministry director general, ambassador to Sweden and consul general to Mumbai. Habibollah Biazar was the country's previous ambassador to Bulgaria./end
