Iran Navy Ready To Be Present In Atlantic Ocean : Commander

Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA – Navy commander stressed powerful presence of the Iranian naval forces in the international and free waters, saying they are also ready to be present in the Atlantic Ocean whenever necessary, it is reported on Tuesday. Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari made the remarks at a ceremony to review naval forces’ achievements. Today, the commander regretted that the global arrogance is active in different marine areas. As to closure of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf, the commander said Iran is not after closing the strategic strait. As Iran is well capable of providing security for Hormuz Strait, can close it in the shortest possible time, stressed the Navy commander./end
