Iran Never Compromises On Principles: Columnist

Islamabad, March 19, IRNA – A Pakistani columnist has said that Iran is a major Muslim country and has never compromised on principles. Talking to IRNA Ayesha Masood Malik said that the steadfastness of Iran has forced the western countries to settle all disputes with the Islamic Republic through dialog. She said that Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has correctly said that resistance economy is a long-term and dynamic policy which will guarantee the future of Iran. Ayesha said that policy of resistance economy makes countries self sufficient and this is exactly what Iran is doing. She added that Iran is a peaceful country and wants to develop good relations with all world countries that is why it has started a dialogue with the West. She was of the view that Muslim countries have to pursue independent policies like Iran. “They must come out of American influence.” Regretting that Muslim countries lack dynamic leadership like Iran, she urged them to adopt independent policies. The journalist said that Iran has become a role model for Muslim countries, noting that Iran is following the policy of resistance economy that has made the country self sufficient in all sectors.
