Iran, Norway Keen To Expand Ties

Tehran, April 8, IRNA – Iranian and Norwegian officials in a meeting in Tehran on Monday discussed issues related to mutual interests and cooperation. Deputy Foreign Morteza Sarmadi and outgoing Norwegian Ambassador Peter Camproud underlined the need for the further expansion of bilateral ties. Sarmadi pointed to the Norwegian ambassadorˈs role during his mission in Tehran in terms of making the two countriesˈ more progressive, and expressed the hope that the two countries would further expand their relations in different areas. ˈThe volume of the two countriesˈ trade balance can further expand within this framework,ˈ he added.
