Iran Nuclear Policies, Transparent - Araqchi

Tehran, June 23, IRNA – Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said Iranˈs peaceful nuclear policies are fully transparent. Abbas Araqchi made the statement in reaction to the recent remarks of French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian about Iranˈs peaceful nuclear program. Few days ago, the French defense minister had claimed that Iranˈs nuclear program will pose threat to the entire world in future. Araqchi stressed that such unrealistic remarks indicates that the French defense minister is unaware of the realities. He reiterated that the reality is that Iran is playing constructive role in ensuring regional peace and stability. The senior diplomat emphasized that the Islamic Republicˈs nuclear policies are peaceful and under constant supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)./end
