Iran-Oman FMs Confer Latest Regional Developments

Tehran, July 23, IRNA - Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in a telephone conversation with his Omani counterpart Yusuf Bin Alawai discussed the latest international and regional developments on Monday. Alawai, for his part, expressed satisfaction with progress of mutual cooperation and once again congratulated the Iranian government and nation on successful holding of June 14 presidential elections. During the talks, the two ministers also reviewed issues of mutual interest and called for further expansion of all-out ties. President-elect Hassan Rohani won Iran's 11th presidential election, marked by high voter turnout, by securing 50.7 percent of a total of 36,704,156 ballots./end
