The Irish ex-prime minister said the November 24 nuclear deal in Geneva was highly welcomed throughout Europe and all European countries are waiting to see how successful it would proceed with an ultimate settlement of the decade-long dispute by signing a comprehensive agreement. Asked whether Ireland has any plans to dispatch economic delegation to Tehran as some European countries are doing so, Ahern said prior to his departure to Tehran, his countryˈs Chamber of Commerce had held a meeting in this regard. ˈI think an economic delegation from Ireland will visit Iran soon,ˈ Ahern said./end
