Iran, Pioneer In Islamic Awakening Movement : Lebanese Scholar

Beirut, Jan 30, IRNA - Vice President of the Higher Shiite Council said here Tuesday that Iran is playing a key role in awakening the regional nations, adding that the country is pioneer in the Islamic Awakening movement in both region and the world. Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan made the remarks in a meeting with Iranˈs Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi. Qabalan underlined the need for consolidation of unity and solidarity among world Muslims. On Iranˈs role in Syrian developments, he said Tehran has made its all-out efforts to resolve the crisis through diplomatic solutions./end
