Iran Plays Pivotal Role In Regional Equations: Lebanese Official

Beirut, July 15, IRNA – A member of Lebanon International Solidarity Movement in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi said here Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran plays a determining role in regional equations. Pointing to the recent political developments in Palestine, Maan Bashour urged the Palestinian forces to focus on the holy Qods issue and remain vigilance against enemies conspiracies. He underlined the need for refraining from any move leading to tension in the region. He also hailed Iran's support for resistance movement against the Zionists atrocities. Roknabadi, for his part, outlined Iran's principal policy supporting all peace-loving nations. On the latest developments in Egypt, the Iranian envoy stressed that the Egyptian nation should decide its own destiny and no foreign power has the right to meddle in domestic affairs of the country./end
