Iran President felicitates new Saudi King

Tehran, Jan 24, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani cabled a message on Saturday to felicitated the New Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz on taking office as the new Saudi King. President Rouhani expressed the hope that during tenure of the new King, relations between Tehran and Riyadh in all fields would further develop. Rouhani said in the message to the new Saudi King that he wished to witness further expansion of relations and cooperation between the two governments. He said that the religious and historical affinities would help bolster ties and cooperation between the two countries. 'I do pray to Almighty God to bestow success and prosperity on the Saudi nation and government,' Rouhani said.
