Iran produces new generation of flight simulators

TEHRAN,Oct.31(MNA) – The deputy commander of the Iranian Air Force announced that new domestically manufactured and upgraded flight simulators have become operational. Brigadier General Manouchehr Yazdani said that Iranian experts have designed and manufactured a flight simulator for the Sukhoi Su-24 jet fighter that is more efficient than the ones manufactured by Russia and Ukraine. He also said that Iranian experts are now capable of manufacturing highly advanced flight simulators. Elsewhere in his remarks, Yazdani said that Iranian engineers have managed to upgrade the flight simulator for the F-14 jet fighter. He added that Iran plans to design and manufacture flight simulators for its other fighter planes, such as the Mirage jet fighter.
