Iran Proud Of Supporting Lebanon: Ambassador

Beirut, July 2, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi said on Saturday night that Iran is proud of backing the brave, Islamic and national resistance of Lebanese people to systematic Israeli aggressions. He said that the Iranian government supports freedom movements of the Muslim nations as per Article 52 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran. “We are proud to support the brave Lebanese resistance movement in their campaign to liberate Lebanon's territories from Israeli occupation and stem systematic aggression of the Zionist regime on Lebanon. Thank God they have attained significant victories.” Addressing the audience at a dinner banquet, he said the ceremony has been held to appreciate Iran’s support for Lebanese government, nation and its resistance.
