Iran Pursuing Case Of Kidnapped Pilgrims In Syria

Damascus, Aug 5, IRNA – Iran’s Consulate Office in Damascus said on Saturday that it is in contact with related security organizations in Syria regarding Iranian pilgrims kidnapped in Syria. In a statement, copy of which was sent to IRNA, the office said 47 Iranian pilgrims intending to visit holy shrine of Hazrat Zeinab were kidnapped by armed rebels. It said the names of the kidnapped individuals will be announced later by Foreign Ministry./end
