Iran Reacts To Netanyahu Speech At UNGA

Tehran, Oct 2, IRNA – Iran’s deputy ambassador to the UN reacting to the anti-Iran speech of the Zionist regime Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly said Tuesday Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful and under full supervision of the UN nuclear watchdog. Iran is pursuing its nuclear activities in cooperation with and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Khodadad Seifi said addressing the UN General Assembly immediately after Netanyahu’s speech. Utilizing his right of reply, Seifi told the General Assembly that Tehran has voiced its readiness to have honest cooperation in a meaningful and targeted talks but this is the Zionist prime minister who is “trying to mislead this august body regarding the Iranian nuclear program. But unlike last year, without cartoon drawings.” He added the most controversial part of Netanyahu’s speech was where he became ‘more catholic than pope’ and tried, hopelessly, to determine the type, standards and scale of Iran’s enrichment activities and its plutonium production. The Iranian diplomat said the Zionist regime is the only one in the Middle East region which is not a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)./end
