Iran ready to provide security for regional states: Ashtari

Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA - Iranian Deputy Police Chief Brigadier Hossein Ashtari said in Tuesday that Iran is prepared to provide regional security and help other states in the region. Addressing a local gathering here, the official said Iran enjoys complete stability and security comparing with the regional states. “Tehran would spare no help for the regional countries,” said the official. Referring to the present security crisis in Iraq due to the presence of the terrorist group of Daesh (ISIS) in that country, Ashtari said Iran is “sensitive” about current situation in its neighboring country. The official voiced Iran’s readiness to help the Iraqi police restore security in that country.
