Iran Ready For Transparency In Nuclear Field

Tehran, Oct 14, IRNA – Senior member of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Abbas Ali Mansouri said Monday that Iran is ready for transparency and removing remaining issues in its nuclear program. Speaking to IRNA, Manousri, a member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, made the remarks while commenting on the upcoming nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1. The talks are to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on October 15-16. “If the negotiating parties start the talks with good-will then there will be hope for an outcome,” Mansouri said. He stressed, Expecting Iran to act beyond its commitments based on the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) would lead the talks to nowhere. Mansouri reiterated that Iran has always been acting within the framework of its NPT obligations./end
