Iran Releases Six Slovak Nationals: Foreign Ministry

Tehran, Sept 3, IRNA – Six Slovak nationals held in Iran since May were released on Sunday, it was announced here on Monday. Six of the eight Slovak nationals arrested in the historical city of Isfahan in May 2013, on charges of violating the Islamic Republic’s law were released yesterday. According to the press bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Slovak nationals were handed over to their embassy in Tehran. The Slovakia’s Embassy in Tehran was informed of the case and given consular access to the detainees, the report added. The case of the other two detainees remains under investigation, it said./end
