Iran Resists Unreasonable Requests Of Tyrant Powers: Rahimi

Muscat, Jan 31, IRNA – Iran is committed to resist unreasonable requests of tyrant powers, Iran First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said on Monday. Rahimi made the remarks in meeting with Iranians living in Oman. “Contrary to hegemonic powers and Zionist regime propaganda against IRI, Iran's resistance toward tyrant powers has been inspiring for the other countries and will lead to the country’s prosper and welfare; Iran has a high position among regional countries in various fields of economy, science, culture and any other filed,” Rahimi added. He noted that sanctions could not stop the economic activities in Iran including activities in South Pars Oil Field. Rahimi conferred on Monday with Sultan Qaboos of Oman on expansion of mutual relations and on regional developments. In the meeting, both sides discussed broadening of mutual relations and cooperation in various fields, as well as latest regional and international developments. They also reviewed transit of goods and commodities through Iran to potential markets in Central Asia including Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and East Asian countries. Rahimi attended a press conference in Oman and met Iranian nationals residing in the kingdom./end
