Iran-Russia Consider Negotiation As Best Way To Settle Syria Crisis : Official

Tehran, Feb 20, IRNA - Chairman of Iran-Russia Parliamentary Friendship Group Mehdi Sanaei said here Wednesday Tehran and Moscow consider negotiations as the best way to settle Syrian crisis. Sanaei made the remarks in a meeting with his visiting Russian counterpart Nikolai Levichev in Tehran. The two countries believe that halting violence and holding negotiations are best ways to resolve the Syrian crisis, he said. Sanaei noted that Tehran-Moscow cooperation has resulted in change in Westˈs approach towards Syria. Levichev, for his part, stressed that Iran-Russia Parliamentary Friendship Group plays a pivotal role in fostering mutual relations.
