Iran-Russia Defense Ties To Benefit Global Security - Minister

Tehran, Oct 29, IRNA – Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan stressed that defense cooperation between Iran and Russia would benefit regional and global stability and security. Dehqan made the remarks in response to a message sent by his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu felicitating him on his appointment. Dehqan said the Islamic Iran attaches importance to its relations with Russia. In his message, Shoigu had called for further boost in friendly relations between Moscow and Tehran./end
