Iran-Russia Strategic Partnership Will Guarantee Regional Stability

Tehran, March 13, IRNA – Deputy Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Baqeri announced here on Tuesday that Tehran-Moscow strategic partnership will guarantee regional stability. Baqeri made the remarks during a meeting with the visiting deputy secretary of Russia’s Security Council, Yevgeny Lukyanov. Such a partnership is a win-win game for the two sides as well as the entire region, he said, adding that it will guarantee the regional security and stability. The Russian official, for his part, said Moscow attaches great importance to its strategic cooperation with Iran in all areas. Lukyanov also lambasted the West for adopting double-standard policies on regional and international issues and supporting terrorist groups in Syria./end
