Iran Safest Regional Country : Navy Commander

Tehran, Oct 12, IRNA – Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said naval forces will respond to any violation of the country’s national waters, stressing that Iran is the safest country in the region. Addressing a local gathering, Sayyari said ensuring security in the international waters is an important issue. The Iranian naval forces are well protecting the country’s merchant vessels in the international waters. Referring to international presence of the Iranian naval forces, the commander said the Army vessels are currently patrolling the Red Sea and Bab-el-Mandeb./end
