Iran Sanctions Act is absolute violation of JCPOA: MP

Yasouj, Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad Prov., Dec 6, IRNA – Iran Sanctions Act is an absolute violation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, a senior MP said on Tuesday. Hossein Naqavi Hosseini, the spokesman for the Majlis (parliament) Commission on National Security made the remarks in the southeastern province of Kohgilouyeh-Boyerahmad. ISA violates eight articles of the JCPOA completely, the official added. He noted that US has violated the JCPOA 15 times since the nuclear deal was signed between Iran and G5+1. According to the official reports released by the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran has been committed to its obligations enshrined in the JCPOA, the lawmaker noted. He underlined that far more than its obligations in the nuclear deal, Iran has also accepted and executed 11 obligations out of the JCPOA text. 'We should be proud of our advanced peaceful nuclear facilities,' the official said. He noted that US and IAEA inspectors are worried about the complicated structure of Fordo nuclear facility. US and Western powers should be accountable towards the brutal killing of people across the region and the world including Yemen, Naqavi Hosseini said. He noted that there are up to 2,000 documents that prove US financial support for crimes happened in the region. The MP criticized the world so called supporters of human rights for their silence towards Zionists' nuclear arsenal with 300 nuclear warheads. 1378/IRNA
